A day like an other . . .

Hello, there is not a lot to say about today. It was a day like any other. Sure, I did some more running and got some things organized. Tomorrow I will finish some remaining orientation tasks and make sure that I am ready to go for Tuesday’s EPIC training. I’m not the only nurse who has had some difficulty getting through the orientation process here in NYC. The problem has to do with the high volume of nurses coming in to the system at the same time and confusion due to the sheer amount of virtual training that needs to happen. I tried my best to follow all the directions, but a lot of the Travel Agency training staff were overwhelmed and communication was strained.

Well, I suppose now is as good a time as any to point out my “Philosophical Musings” section for you to check out. It’s a space where I try and reflect on the current social situation and bring to bear different resources for thinking about our current societal problems. Not in a CNN/FoxNews sensational sense, but in a contemplative ethical and compassionate sense having to do with problem solving and using history, philosophy, and religion as examples for bringing insights to myself and anyone else who could use some inspiration! Also, I will post my first “Affirmation which is essentially inspirational quotations that I have come across. Maybe affirmation is not the right word . . .  hmmm any suggestions? Perhaps epigraph is a better term?
